HAWAIIAN WEDDING CAKE WITH WHIPPED CREAM-CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

This is a cake that comes with a lush, wonderful Hawaiian set of ingredients. This is based off the wedding cakes oftentimes provided in Hawaii for those who are interested in having a unique wedding cake. The pineapple in this is very easy to taste, and it creates a refreshing, tropical item that you can enjoy.

The ingredients are simple, and whether you’re making this for a weeding, or if you just want to challenge yourself to make a wonderful, luscious cake, this is something that will definitely be great, especially for those who love not only pineapples, but the refreshing taste of coconut as well.

Ingredients:

For the cake you will need :

1 cup white sugar1/2 cup brown sugar1 tsp baking soda2 cups all-purpose flour2 eggs1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice1 cup finely chopped (or crushed) walnuts3/4 cup flaked coconut1 tsp cinnamon1/8 tsp nutmeg1 tsp salt1 tsp vanilla

For Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting you will need

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (let it come to room temperature for easier blending)1 cup white sugar1/8 tsp salt1 tsp vanilla extract1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

Steps

Gather all of the dry ingredients, take them and put them in a bowl. Mix all of these together

Take the vanilla, the eggs, and the pineapple that’s crashed, juice included, and then add that to the dry ingredient mixture, mixing it all together so that everything’s properly combined.

For the cake, you want to put it in your typical cake baking dish. Once that’s there, bake this for up to 40 minutes at around 350 degrees. You want to make sure the toothpick is clean in the center. You can then take this out, let this cool, and either serve this without the topping, or if you want, you can also make a wonderful frosting that’s made from cream cheese

For the frosting

First, you want to make sure that you get a tiny bowl, and then add the whipping cream in this, beating this until it creates peaks that are stiff.

Get another large container and from there, adding the sugar, ream cheese, vanilla, and the salt, beating everything in this until it’s all smoothed out.

Fold in the cream cheese mixture along with the whipped cream until it’s all together.

Get your cake, put this over the cake, and make sure it’s all properly combined

For a great garnish, add some toasted coconut to the top. You can let it chill until it’s time to serve, or if you like a warmer frosting, let it sit on the counter until you’re ready to serve this!

Tips

Do I need to make the frosting for this?

You don’t have to, and for some people, if they’re worried about it being too rich, they may forgo the frosting. But if you have a little bit of extra time, you can always just put the frosting on top, along with the toasted coconut, to ensure that you get the best results that you can out of this one.

When should I serve this cake?

You can serve this whenever you feel you’re ready to! Some people like to serve this immediately, others may hold onto this and wait until it’s time for them to have the event, and then they can serve it. Whatever the case, this cake is good chilled in the fridge, or out on the counter, so whatever you choose to do, you can do it at your own discretion.
